Delete your account

Open ResiSmart · Society, Guard or Partner.
Go to Profile (You) → Account.
Tap Delete account, confirm with the one-time code sent to your phone/email.

Send a request from your registered email or include your registered phone number so we can verify it is you.

What gets deleted

Your login (phone/email/password), profile photo and personal profile details.
Your device tokens, notification preferences and app settings.
Your access to every society and partner workspace you were part of.
Personal messages, posts and reviews you authored are removed or anonymised (“Former resident”).

Financial records — bills, receipts, invoices and ledger entries that involve you — are retained by the society/partner and by us for the period Indian tax and accounting law requires (typically 8 years). They are de-linked from your login identity.
Security & visitor logs — gate entries you approved or were recorded against, SOS alerts — are retained per the society’s configured retention (default 12 months) for the safety of the premises.
Society records such as flat ownership/tenancy history and committee terms are the society’s records; the society administrator controls them. Ask your society office to remove or correct them.
Anything we must keep to comply with law, resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.

Verified

We confirm the request came from you (OTP or registered email).

Within 7 days

Your account is deactivated and access removed everywhere.

Within 90 days

Personal data is deleted or anonymised, including from backups as they cycle.

If you are the only administrator of a society or partner workspace, transfer admin rights to someone else first, or ask us to close the workspace — otherwise deletion is paused so the society is not locked out.
Deletion is permanent. You can create a new account later, but your previous data will not be restored.
